Following this, there will be a fireside chat between Laurie and Bridget McGill, Head of Securities Lending Trading at Invesco, focusing on Laurie’s career journey, her efforts in promoting other women, developing allies, and how she has climbed the corporate ladder.

Laurie F. Brignac, CFA

Head of Invesco Global Liquidity
Laurie Brignac is Chief Investment Officer and Head of Invesco’s Global Liquidity business, responsible for providing senior management oversight of Invesco’s liquidity products in the US, EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) and Asia Pacific regions.
Ms. Brignac has been in the investment business since 1989. She joined Invesco in 1992 as a money market trader, and was promoted to investment officer in 1994 and senior portfolio manager in 2002. Her duties have expanded to include all forms of short-term fixed income products, including money market and short-duration funds. Ms. Brignac has served as a member of the Tri-Party Repo Infrastructure Reform Task Force and participates in various industry committees, both in the US and globally. Prior to joining Invesco, Ms. Brignac was a sales assistant for HSBC Securities Inc. She began her career as a money market trader responsible for managing the Federal Reserve position at Premier Bank in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Ms. Brignac earned a BS degree in accounting from Louisiana State University. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) charterholder and holds the Series 7, 63 and 79 registrations.
Bridget McGill
Head of Securities Lending Trading
Invesco
Bridget McGill is Head of Securities Lending Trading at Invesco. Bridget joined Invesco in April 2021 to manage the firm’s securities lending trading capabilities within Invesco Advisers Inc. as the funds’ affiliated lending agent. Prior to Invesco, Bridget was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs within their agency securities lending business. She joined Goldman in June 2013 where she specialized in trading international equities and fixed income as part of their London agency securities lending desk. Bridget later relocated back to Boston in 2016 where she broadened her trading coverage to include U.S. equities. Bridget received her B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Insurance from Northeastern University in 2013. Bridget holds FINRA Series 7, Series 63.
